Job Description:
As an Architect/Civil Engineer in Germany, your responsibilities include planning structures for various buildings, designing steel structures and foundations, calculating loads and forces, dimensioning cables, ropes, and systems, creating building application documents, coordinating with clients and project participants, supporting construction supervision, preparing technical project documentation and revision documents, and assisting the sales department with quotations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Structural Planning: Develop plans and designs for various buildings, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with regulations.
- Steel Structure Design: Design steel structures and foundations, considering factors such as load-bearing capacity and safety.
- Load and Force Calculation: Calculate loads and forces to determine the structural requirements for buildings and components.
- Dimensioning Systems: Dimension cables, ropes, and systems within buildings, ensuring functionality and safety.
- Building Application Documents: Create and submit building application documents, including drawings, specifications, and permits.
- Client Coordination: Coordinate with clients and project participants to understand requirements, address concerns, and ensure project alignment.
- Construction Support: Provide support during construction supervision, addressing technical issues and ensuring adherence to plans.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare technical project documentation, including drawings, reports, and revisions, maintaining accuracy and clarity.
- Sales Assistance: Assist the sales department in preparing quotations, providing technical input, and ensuring proposals meet project specifications and standards.
You will Inspire with:
- Successfully completed studies in architecture, civil engineering or a comparable course of study
- Alternatively technician | master craftsman (construction-specific) or comparable with relevant professional experience
- Ideally professional experience in the planning of buildings
- Experience in the building permit process and in the creation and evaluation of specifications
- Knowledge of the relevant standards, rules and regulations desirable
- Confident handling of MS Office and AutoCAD or other CAD systems
- High sense of responsibility for technical, safety and scheduling issues
- Solution-oriented thinking, initiative and team spirit
- Strong communication skills and team orientation
- B1/B2 German language skills
